One-click Domain Connect
The fastest way to connect a domain — authorise from a popup and SitesPlaced configures the settings for you.

If your domain lives at a supported registrar — such as GoDaddy or Cloudflare — you can connect it in one click with Domain Connect. SitesPlaced sets up everything behind the scenes, so you don't have to touch any technical settings.
Connect in one click
- 1Go to Settings → Store details and add your custom domain (see Connect your own domain).
- 2If your registrar is supported, you'll see a one-click connect option — choose it.
- 3A popup opens at your registrar. Sign in there if asked.
- 4Review what's being changed and click Authorise (or Allow / Confirm).
- 5The popup closes and you're brought back to SitesPlaced — the settings are now applied for you.
Make sure your browser allows popups for SitesPlaced, otherwise the authorisation window may be blocked from opening.
What happens next
After you authorise, the change spreads across the internet — usually within minutes, sometimes up to a few hours. Once it's done, visiting yourbrand.com shows your SitesPlaced site, secured automatically. Your free yourname.sitesplaced.com address keeps working too.
Don't see the one-click option?
Your registrar may not support Domain Connect. No problem — you can connect it by hand instead with Manual DNS, which works with every registrar.
