Your free sitesplaced.com address
Every published site and store gets a free yourname.sitesplaced.com address — and you choose the yourname part.
Last updated 18 June 2026
When you publish, your site goes live straight away on a free address that looks like yourname.sitesplaced.com. You don't have to buy anything — it works on phones, it's secure, and you can share it anywhere.
The yourname part is called your slug, and you get to pick it.
Set or change your address
- 1From your dashboard, open Settings → Store details.
- 2Find the slug field — this is the
yournamepart ofyourname.sitesplaced.com. - 3Type the address you'd like (use letters, numbers and hyphens — no spaces).
- 4Save. Your site is now reachable at the new address.
Keep your slug short and easy to say out loud — you'll be reading it over the phone and putting it in your Instagram bio. Your brand name is usually the best choice.
Changing your slug changes your link
If you've already shared yourname.sitesplaced.com and then change the slug, the old link stops working. Update it everywhere you've posted it.
