Tour your store dashboard
A quick map of every part of your store dashboard — the six tabs, the home overview, and how to publish, preview and go live.
Last updated 18 June 2026
Everything you do to run your store happens in your store dashboard. This page is the map — once you know what each tab does, the rest of these guides will make sense fast.
Open your store from your SitesPlaced dashboard and you'll land on the store's Home tab. Across the top (on desktop) or along the bottom (on mobile) you'll see six tabs:
The six tabs
- Home — your overview: today's orders and revenue, what needs your attention, and quick shortcuts to add a product, create a coupon or share your store link.
- Orders — every order that comes in. Click one to see the items, the customer's contact details, payment status, and to move it through *Pending → Confirmed → Shipped → Out for Delivery → Completed*.
- Products — your full catalogue. Add, edit, duplicate and delete products here.
- Messages — enquiries sent through your store's contact form.
- Design — the storefront editor. Edit the sections of your Home, About and Contact pages, and write blog posts.
- Settings — everything else: your store name, branding, menu, catalog, categories, discounts, checkout, shipping, payments, policies, SEO and integrations.

Settings has a search box
Settings is a single, searchable list. Don't hunt through tabs — type what you want (e.g. *menu*, *shipping*, *coupon*, *currency*) into the search box at the top of Settings and jump straight there.
Draft vs live
A new store starts as a draft — only you can see it. When you're ready, the Publish button (top-right of the dashboard) takes it live at your free yourname.sitesplaced.com address. You can take it back offline anytime by unpublishing.
Use Open Store (or the live link) anytime to preview exactly what your customers see.
Where to go next
- First time here? Start with Create & publish your store.
- Before adding lots of products, do Set up your catalog once.
- Then add your products and design your storefront.
