Refunds & cancellation

How cancellation works, what happens to your site, and where to find our refund policy.

Plans run on a try-before-you-commit basis — you build and publish free, and only ever pay for extras you choose. If you need to step back from an upgrade, here's how it works.

Cancelling an upgrade

Cancel any recurring upgrade from the Billing area of your dashboard — see Manage your subscription for the steps. After cancelling:

  • Your premium extras stay active until the end of the period you've already paid for.
  • Your site stays published — it just returns to the free plan and shows the SitesPlaced badge again.
  • Your content, store products, orders and settings are all kept safe.

Refunds

Whether a payment is refundable depends on the type of charge and our published terms. The full, up-to-date details are on the refund policy page — please read it there, as it's the authoritative source.

Student portfolio unlocks and some premium extras are one-time payments. Check the refund policy for how those are treated.

Charged by mistake or twice?

If you think you were charged in error, charged twice, or want to request a refund covered by the policy, contact support with the email on your account and the date of the charge. We'll look into it and sort it out with the payment provider.

Will my site go offline if I cancel?

No. Your site stays live — it just reverts to the free plan and its free sitesplaced.com address, with the SitesPlaced badge shown again.

Do I lose my products or content?

No. Cancelling only affects premium extras. Your pages, products, orders and settings are all preserved.

Where can I see the exact refund terms?

On the refund policy page at sitesplaced.com/refund — that's the authoritative source for what's refundable and when.
